I have been taking calligraphy classes at the Japan Society in New York since last year. I haven't had the opportunity to do calligraphy since my school assignments in elementary school back in Japan. I remember enjoying calligraphy when I was a child. So, I started calligraphy again.
The works collected here are the twelve animals of the zodiac cycle, 干支. I put them together in a video with the SocksArt animals. Please enjoy!
昨年から、Japan Societyで書道のクラスを受けています。書道は、小学生だった頃に学校の課題としてやって以来、長い間、書道をする機会に恵まれませんでした。子供の頃、書道を楽しんでいたのを覚えており、再び書道を始めました。。。
